Similarity with other logos
Before you start creating a new logotype, do a little research on the Internet and see what logos have already been created for the same area, what flaws you notice in them and which one is most striking and memorable. This will help you more easily decide on the choice of style, color and shape, and most importantly, to remain original.

Logotype Flexibility
Create such a logo, which elements can be used separately from the text on various printed products and online platforms.
Always consider differences in color, size, and proportions, but at the same time, try to stay as minimalist as possible. Because, an excess of elements makes the logo less memorable.

Check in black and white
Ensure that all elements of the logotype are clearly visible when it rendered to grayscale or black and white.

Convey right emotions
Before using the created logo, try asking colleagues, friends, or business partners what emotions this logo conveys, and thus find out if those emotions meet your requirements.

Too Small Details
Check if all the details of the logo are visible in various sizes and when printed. Remember, what you see on the screen can vary greatly when printed. For example, if there is not enough space between the logotype icon details or letters, then they can be merged, and when they are too thin, they can be invisible when printed. As you can see in the example below, some companies use different elements of the logo when it gets smaller if needed, to avoid the mentioned issue.

Color System
Colors should be specified in every major system. This helps to maintain uniformity in the future, and become recognizable to customers. Also, these colors will be used to create various products for the company. Products can be either printed or web-based, so the brand colors should be specified for the all major systems, as part of the instructions for creating them.

Scalable Vector Files
Create your logo in vector programs and save as a vector file. Have those files on hand when you submit your logo to designers and partners, but especially to designers, they would definitely ask for it.

In which programs and how to create vector files, and what is special about them, I will tell you in upcoming posts. Stay tuned.
